This cameo glass "Snow Drop" vase, by Daum Nancy, features carved light blue flowers on brown stems against a mottled white and blue ground, an ideal example of the natural inspiration found in French Art Nouveau. The elegantly elongated features a frosty scene of cool mottled blues of various shades serving as the backdrop for a field of earthen toned brownish stems and leaves that eventually give way to white blossoms so delicately rendered, they are, in some instances hard to make out at first glance.
